InuYasha:

• CHALLENGE 1: Kagome Higurashi/Sesshomaru Pairing:

Plot/Setting: Alternate Universe, Inspired by the TV show "In Plain Sight." Kagome and Sesshomaru are US Marshals that work in witness protection. What happens when one of them suddenly must depend on the other and becomes the witness in need of protection and relocation.

You may choose which one, Kagome or Sesshomaru, that goes into witness protection. You may even choose the reason why. I like to be surprised.

Rating/Genre: Rated M for explicit violence, gore and possible sexual content. The genre should be Action/Crime/Romance, with a touch of drama.

• CHALLENGE 2: Kagome Higurashi/Sesshomaru Pairing:

Plot/Setting: Alternate Universe. Kagome is a tavern girl serving many men alcoholic drinks day in and out. Her very sick mother is in need of serious medical attention. Her younger brother is doing everything he can to bring in any spare change but it’s no use. What little money they have is divided into keeping the tavern running and her mother in the realm of the living. Years have passed and their mother has little chance of survival, medical care or not. In one last desperate hope Kagome (now14) and Souta (now12) sneak out into the night. The town folk had been going on for months now that some very rich diplomat was headed for the western estate. With a chance for some money to turn their poor life around the siblings lure the men into a false sense of security. Somehow Kagome was able to coax the men into purchasing numerous amounts of her strongest alcohol for some mediocre prices. Mean while as the men get drunk and a little more than flirty with Kagome, Souta sneaks onto the wagon and steals as much gold as he could carry.

They get caught, arrested and nearly killed when out of the blue two other thieves (Sango and Miroku) save them. But it was too late for their mother. She was murdered right in front of the children. The very person they had been trying to save.

From there on out Kagome and Souta become the very best ninja/assassin/thieves in Japan. Kagome quickly becomes the one of the strongest females with a calculating mind to boot.

She meets Sesshomaru trying to steel from his caravan that was leaving for the southern lands. The group succeeds to a point. Souta was taken hostage by Sesshomaru in demand of the money they had stolen and a treaty that they would by loyal to the west alone. Kagome and the others grow furious.

Sesshomaru tries to make Souta reveal the safe haven of this group (I have yet to figure out a name so you can input your own but don’t make it sound corny. It must be original) and he obviously fails.

Naraku is the head of the thieving ring and is trying to force Kagome to become his wife. Naraku, unbeknownst to the others, is stealing from them; giving himself quite a paycheck.

The idea is pretty much self explanatory from there. In short Kagome tries to free her brother somehow falling in love with Sesshomaru. Naraku is the all-time evil man yet again and Sesshomaru and Kagome end up living happily ever after.

You have the choice whether to keep demons in the picture or not. One thing I don’t want is the Shikon no Tama appearing out of nowhere to be this magical jewel. You may add the legend in there and some ideas to make it some ultimate goal as in stealing it but other than that no. if you decide to add demons then Kagome is a human. She is nothing other than that. Human. If you decide no demons (which in my opinion seem much better and less of a hassle) then I would like them to keep their original looks. Silver hair, gold eyes. No hanyou ears what so ever. I know they are cute but no…

This fan fiction is an alternate universe. It is still kept in the Feudal Era but with a more western look. I highly encourage that you mix the western culture (blouses, long skirts…etc…) with the fashion of Japan at the time.

This plot is a mix of Robin Hood and some other childhood stories I can’t remember right now.  

Rating/Genre: Rated M for extreme violence, gore and sexual content. The genre for this challenge should be Action-Adventure/Romance/Suspense.

InuYasha/Harry Potter Crossover: 

• Kagome Higurashi/Draco Malfoy Pairing Challenge:

I have wanted to write this idea, but I'm going to allow other people to attempt it as well.

Plot/Setting: Post HBP (Half Blood Prince). After Draco Malfoy and Serverus Snape flee from Hogwarts, the two hide out for a year as muggles in a Japanese school far from both sides of the war.

Character Profile:

Draco Malfoy: Student at the High School. He's completely antagonistic towards everyone for several reasons. Draco needs an alias name.

Serverus Snape: He's a stay-at-home step-father/guardian towards Draco. The apartment that they are staying at is payed in full by the Malfoy funds. Snape needs an alias name.

Kagome Higurashi: Kagome never fell down the well, demons do not exist. She's a muggle that tries her hardest to befriend and defend Draco. She understands how he 'might' feel because she too was a victim of abuse and bullying in school...towards the point of attempting suicide.

Rating: I suggest a Teen rating with a warning label of possible sexual content, foul language and violence.

InuYasha/Lord of the Rings Crossover:

• Kagome Higurashi/Legolas Pairing Challenge: 

Pairing: Kagome Higurashi/ Legolas (He technically has no last name, and so would normally be called 'Legolas son of Thranduil'. Greenleaf is a direct translation of his name.)

Please note that Kagome does not have to originate from Earth or from Feudal Japan. I think it's best if she actually lived in Middle-earth, possibly as a human or as an elf.

Plot/Setting: I have yet to come up with one, or at least a starting point. I will try to come up with one and post it soon. If there are any suggestions feel free to contact me.

Rating: I say Teen, but if you wish, it can go higher (rated Mature). It's always safer to put it higher, there is more stretching room for the creativity muscles.

I would like to say that this story should be long, possibly 25 chapter or so, and every chapter roughly 6,000 words average.

InuYasha/Rurouni Kenshin Crossover:

• Kagome Higurashi/Kenshin Himura Pairing Challenge:

Plot/Setting:

  • The Bakumatsu Era:

   *The conflict with Tomoe must be included in some way.

Kenshin will be lets say 18 or so, that is how old he was when the war ended.
There will be bits of information about Shishio going around.
Kagome can and should become the medic of the imperialists. Infact Kagome and Kenshin should part ways a couple of times and meet up as she is healing members. Maybe she could treat Kenshin for a minor injury that occurred from flying shrappnel or something. Kenshin will also need to be able to kill nearly indescriminantly. He's an assassin during this time.

• The Meji Era: 

Kagome will need to be closer in age to Kenshin, approximately 26 or so.
There will be a need for Kaoru to become defensive and Ms. Megumi as well will become defensive.
Kagome will need to become an apprentice to either Megumi or the Doctor. She will have more skill in handling medicine than Megumi (i just want her to show off); also Kagome's Strengths will be as a midwife. (note Kagome loves children)

Please do not make Kagome out to be the damsel-in-distress that cannot do anything for herself. I don't want her to be strong either. Keep her as her character is, strong personality, courageous and just enough strength to help but not a Super Woman.

This contest/challenge is for my fanfiction "Love's True Light". I am asking that you breathe life into one scene of my fanfiction from either of the following categories:

• Best Dark Fanart
  • This fanart involves dark, depressed feelings, i.e., rape, torture, character death...etc... This category can involve any of the characters of my story.
• Best Fight Scene Fanart
  • Literally, this is the best depiction of two characters in a physical or verbal fight. This category can involve any of the characters of my story.
• Best Couple/Romance Fanart
  • This is any couple, heterosexual or homosexual (Yaoi [male/male] or Yuri [female/female]), depicted in a sexual act or hinting at a sexual relationship. This can be any couple but  must exclude Kagome/Kurama pairing.
• Best Kiss Fanart
  • Features two charactes (at least) kissing. Could be Kagome/Kurama pairing or other characters involved.  
• Best Kagome/Kurama Fanart
  • Features Kagome/Kurama pairing. Could be romantically involved, humorous or other, but it must focus on the characters Kagome and Kurama together.
• Best Lemon/Lime (Hentai) Fanart (Could be any pairing)
  • This category involves sexual explicit art and should only be accessable to those over the legal age of 18.
• Best Group Depiction Fanart
  • For this category, you must have at least 4 characters from the fanfiction, and at least one of them must be my original character (Kai, Mauri or Karen).

Contest Rule (specific to this paticular contest):

1. You may only enter ONE piece of artwork into ONE category. No multiple entries are allowed. If I recieve more than one entry than I will delete ALL entries from that conestant, and that contestant will be disqualified. Though you are not allowed to enter into more than one category, I welcome all artwork and will showcase them here even if they are not in the contest.
2. You must enter by the deadline, which is 30 DAYS AFTER THE END of "Love's True Light." Once I finish I will place a counter on this website and the official end date and time will be noted on here and all profile pages that I am linked with. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. I am not at fault for any computer or internet malfunctions, and I take no responsibility for any entries that are lost.
3. The winner shall be determined by popular vote. I myself will not be voting unless there is a tie at any part of the voting. There will be one winner from each category, and from there, another poll will begin to determine the winner of the grand prize.

 Prizes: NO MONITARY PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN

1. There will be seven (7) prizes. One per category (listed above), and one grand prize.
2. All category winners will recieve a banner created by me (or someone else of better qualifications), special recognition in the sequel of "Love's True Light" and a sneak peek at the first chapter of the sequel.
3. The grand prize winner will recieve not onlly the category winner prizes, but will be featured as a character in the sequel with his/her own character design. I will personally work with this winner to create the character and his/her role in the sequel. The grand prize winner will also have one chapter where they will be able to manipulate the characters as they wish (written by me of course).
4. All prizes may be declined, but are non-negotiable. There is no monitary exchange or profit to be gained by entering this contest.
